Come out to our event! OUR Walmart workers have been speaking out for change and we're taking to the streets on Black Friday. Don't forget that it's late this year --Friday, November 29th.

To be sure, there are other events around the state, but as far as Dallas county is concerned, this Balch Springs event is the one for working people, says AFL-CIO leader Mark York.
More and more people are taking action on behalf of the Walmart workers. This is only partly because they need and deserve our help. In a much larger sense, all of us need to participate because the "Walmart Model" of low wages and uncertain working hours threatens to become the "normal" working relationship for all bosses and all workers.
We'll be discussing next steps in this ongoing worldwide battle on KNON, 89.3 fm and www.knon.org, 9-10 AM Saturday, November 30. The "Workers Beat" program comes on at 9 every saturday. Please get involved with us!
